My Workspace

My Workspace is your personal command centre. It shows tasks assigned to you, approvals waiting for your action, notifications, and your effort log — all filtered to you specifically.

Task Queue

Tasks assigned to you by a manager or the system appear here sorted by due date. This is the primary work intake channel.

Task name — Short description of what needs to be done
Project context — Which client and project this task belongs to
Due date — Red "TODAY" or "OVERDUE" means immediate action required
Mark Done — Marks the task complete and notifies the assigning manager
ImportantMarking a task done does NOT automatically advance the project stage. Stage progression requires the manager to verify the stage checklist separately.

Approvals Queue

Approvals are requests that need your explicit decision — typically timesheets, stage changes, or document reviews that route to your role.

Click the Approvals tab

Shows all pending approval requests routed to your role or directly to you.

Click "View" on any item

Opens the detail panel — shows who submitted it, when, and the full context (hours logged, stage name, document name).

Click Approve or Reject

Approved timesheets unlock billing. Rejected items return to the submitter with a mandatory reason. Approved stage changes move the project forward.

TipIf you approve a timesheet for the wrong project by mistake, contact Admin immediately. Approved timesheets are included in the next client statement export.

Notifications

All system events that affect you are collected here — invoice overdue alerts, document uploads from clients, stage progression notices, and task assignments.

My Effort (Time Logging)

Consultants log time worked on assignments here. The effort log feeds directly into client statements and billing.

Click the My Effort tab

Shows your time entries for the current month grouped by assignment.

Click "+ Log Time"

Select the assignment, enter the date, hours worked, description, and whether the time is billable. Then click Save.

Submit for approval

Once all entries for the month are in, click "Submit for Approval". Your team manager is notified and can approve or reject the entire batch.

NoteOnly approved effort is visible to the client on their statement. Unapproved entries remain internal until the manager acts.
