Mission Control
Mission Control is the first screen you see after login. It gives you a real-time view of your firm's operational health — open items, overdue tasks, pending approvals, and quick actions — all in one place.
Dashboard Layout
Mission Control has four zones: the top KPI bar, the alerts strip, the main activity grid, and the quick-access sidebar. Every zone updates in real time.
Reading KPI Cards
Each KPI card is clickable. Clicking takes you to the filtered list that produced that number.
Click "Overdue Items"
Opens the Operations → Deadline Calendar pre-filtered to overdue only. You can bulk-reschedule or escalate from there.
Click "Pending Approvals"
Opens My Workspace → Approvals tab. Shows timesheet approvals waiting for you specifically.
Click "This Month Revenue"
Opens Billing filtered to paid invoices in the current month. Useful for month-end reconciliation.
Handling Alerts
The red alert strip shows overdue invoices, rejected uploads, and failed notifications. These need immediate attention.
| Alert type | What it means | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Invoice overdue | Invoice was sent, due date has passed, not paid | Go to Billing → find invoice → mark paid or contact client |
| Upload rejected | A document uploaded by the client failed review | Go to Ops Center → Uploads → view rejection reason |
| Stage blocked | A mandatory checklist item is incomplete | Go to the project → open the checklist → complete the item |
| Approval pending >3 days | A timesheet or document has not been reviewed | Go to My Workspace → Approvals → action it |
