Setup guide
Step 1 β Create a dedicated inbox Create a Gmail/Outlook mailbox specifically for regulatory notices, e.g. rbi-notices@yourfirm.com.
Step 2 β Enable IMAP + App Password In Gmail: Settings β See all settings β Forwarding and POP/IMAP β Enable IMAP. Then create an App Password (Security β 2-Step Verification β App Passwords).
Step 3 β Forward your notices Set up forwarding rules on RBI, SEBI, MCA, IRDAI mailers to auto-forward to this mailbox. Or forward manually from your personal inbox.
Step 4 β Save IMAP settings here Enter the mailbox credentials above. ZippCRM will poll every few minutes and log new emails into Inbound Email Log.
Step 5 β Link to projects Go to Inbound Email Log β link each notice to the relevant project β it becomes a Liaison Log entry automatically.
